A Special Invitation To Run Together In Washington, DC.
On November 3rd, 2019 – the same day as the Cardinal International 5K, the Foundation for Women’s Cancer holds their annual National Race to End Women’s Cancer in Washington DC. It’s a 5k run/ 1k walk.
This is the first year that I won’t be running in DC (as many of you know I moved to Cambodia this year!) however I still encourage those running in DC to do so together in the National Race to End Women’s Cancer as part of the Cardinal International 5k team. I will still help organize the DC group and together you can walk, run, push stollers and bring your pups if you want! It’s not mandatory but it is fun!
Special Instructions For How To Join Us.
To run in the National Race to End Women’s Cancer you must formally register, its $45 and you get a t-shirt. It’s a timed event for those who are competitive runners. For the rest of us, we just run or walk for fun! Dont forget to join the Cardinal Inernational 5K Team!
Please note that this is an optional event, and is separate from the Cardinal International 5K and has it’s own cost and registration process. It is not mandatory for participants living in DC – just like everyone else participating in the Cardinal International 5K around the world, you can run/walk wherever you want on November 3rd.
